Obituary of Epifanio Odaundo

Epifanio D. Udaundo, "Idot", 84, of Marina, CA, passed away on Sunday, April 22, 2018, in Salinas, CA. Epifanio was born in Pasuquin, Ilocos Norte of the Philippines, and the youngest of nine children to Anastacio and Cayetana Ruiz Udaundo on January 21, 1934. He married Elvira Reyes on March 18, 1973 in the Philippines. He worked as a farmer/florist for 22 years here in the states. Papa always loved being outdoors. He was very passionate about fishing and showing off what he caught. Some of his hobbies consisted of bingo, playing solitaire, and sunbathing on his little "purple chair" that he took from his grandchildren. He enjoyed going on occasional walks on the beach trails and walked around the block every morning to "be strong" as he would always say. Many would be intimidated by his serious demeanor, but he would always light up at the sight of his beloved grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Felix Baclagan, Rollie Baclagan, Ludwig Rodriguez, Joshua Wheeler, Eric Burl, Steven Burl, Samy Juarez Jr., and Justin Christopher Juarez Viewing will be 4pm - 8pm, Friday, April 27, 2018, at Mission Mortuary.
